Probably the bets Windows 2000 book available, goes into great depth about lots of obscure topics which are difficult to find elsewhere. 

If you want to setup Microsoft's firewall and caching proxy, you're going to need this book. I think there's a strong chance that you will find it near on impossible without this book.

This is an awesome game. It seems to run fine on machines from Pentium 2 300's to whatever you can throw at it.
